SURRENDER

Surrender is the weapon
used against you
to accept the
nonsense we live
in.

There is no surrender
in nature;
every creature
fights
for survival
till the last breath,
like the buffalo
bitten by the Komodo dragon
on a sunny island.

Surrender is a mental
state
out of the thought
that there is no
other
way.

There is a way
if you look for it
until you
make it happen.

So
start
moving.

WHO AM I?

I have been given a name
a nationality, a passport
and a few memories.
I have been given a vague idea of where
should I go and
what should I do.
I have been given a light notion
of yesterday, of a moment ago,
while the now slips
away
while later never comes,
and always comes.
I have been told I have an unique soul,
and a body that will rot
one day or another
once the final show
is over.

That's all I got,
a dream given to me
so I forget
I do not matter
nor exist.
Neither do you.
