LABELS

As a herd,
we collectively react to
labels
in such a predictable
way
that is easy
for those who do not
care
about you,
to abuse
you.

It is simple.

We are going to call it
left and right,
conservative and liberal,
communist and capitalist
or whatever other way
you have already
seen or heard.

So as soon as
you
get your label
(no need to ask for it,
they'll place it there for you),
people with another
label,
can fear you,
stop listening to what you
have to
say,
put you in a box you
never wanted to
be,
and, ultimately,
hate you.

Just like the herd
on view of predators,
without giving
a mere
thought.
