LOW QUALITY FREEDOM

Rather frequently
when discussing ideas
about what future should
be like
people remark
they would not be
willing
to lose their
freedom
in exchange for anything
else.

It is really funny...

Our windows have
iron bars
making our homes
look like a zoo,
we must carry passports
and are forced to
apply
for visas and permissions
to travel the world,
work eight
or more
hours a day
on things we do
not really
care,
we (most of us) are financially
fragile,
and have limited
access to
education.

Furthermore, we are
surrounded by
government secrets,
company secrets,
and left out in all decision
makings.

But what results
evident
is that we have been
efficiently made
to believe
we are
free.
